About Us
Our story began back in 2017 when I found an old hot cocoa recipe in my grandmothers attic. I began making these hot chocolates as gifts for family and friends. The smooth, rich, chocolatey treat became such a hit that everyone said “you should sell them”!! Fast forward to 2020, the longest and strangest year of our lives. If we ever needed some warmth and comfort and chocolate... it was the year 2020!! I began packaging them in mason jars decorated with peace signs and we started selling them at farmers markets. We named the company Peace Love & Hot Chocolate and began bringing smiles to those faces under the masks! My main focus was to make enough money so that I could consistently make donations to our local Food Bank. Those donations are what brought a smile to my face!! To this day we still make our donations to Island Harvest and continue to make our yummy hot chocolates from that original recipe. In the Spring of 2021 we decided to launch our new brand WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, refreshing lemonade and iced tea mixes in a jar. Each jar has a recipe to make one of our many flavors ADULT!! They too have been a big hit! We are excited to see what’s next for Peace Love & Hot Chocolate & WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS!!
